exsoft, an enterprise content management specialist led by CEO Moon-sung Eom, announced on the 10th that its fully upgraded PC document centralization solution, rGate v3.0, has obtained Grade 1 GS (Good Software) Certification, Korea’s software quality certification.

rGate v3.0 centrally manages business documents that would otherwise be distributed across employee PCs. It enables organizations to respond effectively to major security threats, including the loss of business data during organizational changes, insider information leaks, and ransomware attacks.

As part of the v3.0 upgrade, exsoft redesigned rGate’s core architecture so that it can be flexibly integrated with other exsoft solutions or deployed independently, depending on customer requirements.

When integrated with exsoft’s TeamWorks collaboration platform, documents—including forms and files—can be seamlessly connected with processes, projects, approval workflows, and cost management. This expands rGate beyond conventional document storage and security, enabling it to serve as a smart work platform powered by automated workflows.

exsoft also enhanced rGate’s core capabilities. A newly introduced Quality of Service (QoS) feature provides granular control over file-transfer bandwidth for individual users, maintaining stable service quality even when large numbers of users are working simultaneously.

The solution also preserves hyperlinks between large CAD drawings and associated files within the document centralization environment, improving usability in specialized business environments such as construction, engineering, and finance. Expanded Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capabilities provide stronger controls against unauthorized file exports and internal information leaks.

The upgrade also expands how centrally managed enterprise content can be utilized. exsoft provides an AI solution that converts centrally stored content into AI-ready data using a vector database and supports RAG-based search and analysis capabilities, including document summarization and question answering.

This enables organizations to move beyond simply consolidating and storing content, providing a stronger foundation for transforming corporate content into practical knowledge assets.
